"Burn Notice" (2007)

"Burn Notice" (2007) premieres tonight on USA. You'll have to check your local listings for the time.. I have DirecTV and assume I'll get it here on the west coast at the posted east coast time so maybe 7pm.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to this show since they have Jeffrey Donovan as the main character. He was the lead character in the 2004 show "Touching Evil", which I thought was great and was also carried on USA, but was cut after the initial x number of episodes.
Hopefully if this show is any good they'll give it a chance to find an audience. I'm a fan of "Dead Zone" and "The 4400" but I thought they cancelled the shows. Following up on "Burn Notice" to the USA Network website is how I found out they're in new seasons. TNT does a much better job getting the word out about their shows like "The Closer", which is one of my favorites, "Heartland", which I don't watch and "Saving Grace", which I'm looking forward to.
Anyway - I'll be watching tonight.

and the hits just keep on comin'

A trip to Blockbuster while I was off from work for a few days and guess what more movies. Got a love when BB does the 4 for $20 sale. Now here are a few I didn't get on that sale: Cars, Ice Age: the Meltdown, Da Vinci Code, Shadow Boxer and Akeelah and the Bee. Here are the movies I did get, and it's a little shocking: North Country, the Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, Grilled and good night and good luck.

New Arrivals

A few new movies we've added: Mission Impossible III, Transamerica and the Lake House. Obviously, these are 3 very different movies, and our enjoyment of watching all 3 may be due to the fact that we didn't watch them all on the same night.

Check out "Coming Soon"

Don't forget to check out movies that are coming to the boutique...
We have the following dvd's on their way: Crash, Four Brothers, Groundhog Day, A History of Violence, Hustle & Flow and The Ice Harvest.

Band of Brothers

HBO miniseries based on renowned WWII historian Stephen Ambrose's nonfiction book about an Army rifle company that parachuted into France on D-Day.
Dreamworks was part of this 10 1 hour episode series as well as Tom Hanks who was an executive producer.
The fact that they mix in interviews with the actual surviving members of Easy Company make this series all the more intriguing.
I rate this 10 out of 10 and a "must see".
